Assuming the responsibility of our leadership and dedicating ourselves to this Quality and Environmental Policy, is essential for Karbay Ambalaj to achieve its goals. We commit to following these principles to adhere to all requirements of our Quality and Environmental Management System and continually improve its effectiveness:
Karbay Ambalaj considers the health and safety of people as a significant part of its activities. We believe that nothing should be done without safety and that all accidents can be prevented.
For this principle to be realized and its benefits to be perceived by all of us, it needs to be shared. Karbay Ambalaj’s Health and Safety Policy reflects the company’s commitment and indicates the path to be followed: Our health and safety are part of our business. It is beneficial to us and depends on us.
Preventability We believe that all accidents can be prevented. It is not a matter of bad luck; accidents occur when a series of conditions converge, and one of them triggers the accident. The correct way to act is to identify, report, control, or eliminate these reasons in advance. By doing so, all accidents can be prevented.
Participation Anyone can have an accident, cause an accident, or prevent an accident. It is an individual and collective responsibility. Therefore, addressing health and safety collectively, recognizing and reinforcing positive actions, and encouraging self-criticism to identify anything that can be improved are essential.
Learning We have strong beliefs, but we also know that we don’t know everything. And there is nothing wrong with accepting this because people who think they know everything or act as if they know everything eventually stop progressing, become exposed, and ultimately fail. Health and safety require education, “relearning” things, observing and listening, controlling and reflecting, and even “forgetting what has been learned.”
Health We believe that the reason for work is progress, and the reason for progress is health. We believe in safe, healthy working environments, prioritizing people, and thinking not only about today but also about the future.
